Moroccan: Taktouka Salad

Ingredients:

Procedure:

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive in a skillet, add diced green peppers; cook over high heat until slightly charred (about 10 minutes)
  2. Add remaining olive oil and garlic, saute for for 1 minute
  3. Stir in the tomatoes, reduce heat to low; cover and simmer for 5 minutes
  4. Stir in Chermoula sauce and tomato paste, simmer for another 2 minutes
  5. Add honey to balance out the sour (if needed)
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste (if needed)
  7. Serve with Khobz (Moroccan Flatbread)
